Praise Team

FirstPraise or the Praise Team is the newest musical group on the scene. It’s leader, Adam Lawson, has returned to us late this last spring after a five year absence in Missouri. The Praise Team rehearses on Tuesday evening – the vocalists at 6:30 p.m. and the musicians at 7:30 p.m.
Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir, led by Ken Ketel, has been the choir with the longest tradition at First United Methodist Church. The Chancel Choir sings at the 11:00 Traditional Service, wearing robes and singing very traditional music. They practice on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

The gospel choir, led by Ken Ketel, was actually formed by Pastor Diehl in the early ’80′s when he was the associate pastor at First Church. The gospel choir sings at the 8:00 service.
